- Act like a gentleman
- Get in touch with your feelings
- Stop using the words like 'Is it PMS again'?
- Learn to listen to us when we talk!
- Not treating 'sorry' like a dirty word
- Give us prority in your life
- Respect our ideas and opinions
- Keep your promises to us
- Finally, love us for what we are
I've found a SNAG! Are you one of them or do you know of one??? P.S. > Thanks dear & thank YOU God! I'm truly blessed!

It must be due to my exhilaration of finally surviving two 30-Hour Famine camps :D That comes up to 60 hours of fasting from solid food while working behind the scenes! :p
I've never worked so hard for an event. Being the logistics head for West Famine (15-16 Sept in Bukit Jalil) & Asst. Logistic head cum production switcher for East Malaysia (6-7 Oct in Miri), it has truly been challenging & memorable.
Read more about it here: 30-Hour Famine website30-Hour Famine blog Now that it's finally over, I've..
1) got a new hairdo 2) got tickets to watch "Chicago The Musical" (tks dear!) 3) thought about it & now am in the process of adopting an abandoned pup
WooHoo! :D Praise be to God, life is back to normal ;) What about u?
Much alive, ~Jess

This seems to be a year of love and heartaches. Not just for me but for my close circle of friends. A number of them are getting married, a few just broke up, some are going through dilemmas, while others have overcome theirs.
Last Saturday, a bunch of us, Kevin, Cheng Yee, Li-Na & I were chosen to be on the panel to share about BGR issues to the youth. They were over 70 of them, mainly 13 to 17 year olds. Boy was it nerve wrecking!! But praise God that we shared from our heart and experiences that God has guide us through.
It was like a healing process for me as I shared of my first & only relationship. It was more than 5 year ago but the memories remains deep inside me. Looking back, I know why God put me through it. I'm the kind of person who would willingly sacrifice just to keep things going.
But God spoke to me one day & said that the only person I should be sacrificing so much for, is Him. Only Him alone deserves so much.
To learn to love, you must let go. And that's what I did. Let go of my dreams of eventually marrying my first love. It wasn't easy but I had to do it. I'm who I am today because of the decisions made. I gained true friendship and was able to pursue my dreams of serving the needy. I'm still working at it but at least I'm on the right track.
My prayer is this..
Dear Lord, help us all to guard our bro & sisters-in-Christ hearts. Let us not mislead them but encourage them as they seek to do Your Will. For a man who seeks you first, is a righteous one. Amen!
I'm glad I found someone who shares my passion to serve the needy. I would not want all your love just for myself. For I believe, something good should be shared. Just like God's love & salvation for us. True happiness comes from sharing. Thank you God & thank YOU for being that someone who believes in sharing & serving others :)
Your humble servant, ~Jess

Apologies for the delay, the events that followed the new year caught me by surprise in terms of work & relationships. Nevertheless, all's good. Praise God!:)
- Think of atleast 3 major successes - incl work, personal & team efforts
- World Vision's 30-Hour Famine - Reaching out to the youths and being more accountable to - Joining the gym and participated in a few retreats/conferences that help to realign me to God's way
- Reflect on 2 disappointments. If they were unavoidable, what did you learn? Can any issues be resolved & if so, what steps can you take?
- Did not draw as close to God as I wanted to
- Spending quality time with family & youths
- What goals would you like to achieve in 2007 - work & personal. Think big, if money was no object what would you do? Is there a way to take small steps to make this dream possible?
- To plan for my working stint in another continent, hopefully sometime mid-2008
- To spend more time with the youths
- To get to know some of my close friends better
- Think of the important people in your life. Have you spent enough time with them communicating with them?
- My family, youths – more quality time with family
- List the priorities in your life. Have you given each of those attention they deserve? If not, what's got in the way? Focus on ways to remove such distractions form your life. You can then spend time with those you really want to be with, doing the things you love.
- God – to be more consistent in my daily walk with God
- Family & friends – quality time & pray consistently for them
- Ministry – to serve in the youth ministry & be accountable to individuals. Have committed to teach the Form 5 in our Youth Bible study
- Personal development – to be more socially aware and exercise my rights. I've signed up to join a monthly "Total Truth" study group, read books that will broaden my mind, improve my spending habit & physical health
